How old do I need to be to rent a boat?
A: You must be 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?
A: Yes. North Carolina requires everyone born after 1988 to have a boater’s safety license.
Do you have boat rentals for fishing?
A: Yes, we allow fishing on all of our boat rentals.
Can I bring my dog/pet on our boat rental?
A: No pets are allowed on any of our watercraft.
Do you offer refunds for inclement weather such as thunderstorms and rain?
A: We offer a partial refund/credit or a rebooking of the reservation for another time during the rental season.
What is your boat rental cancellation policy?
A: You may cancel 48 hours before your boat rental for a full refund.
Do you rent tubes, paddleboards, wakeboards, etc.?
A: No, we currently do not.
Do I need a fishing license to go fishing on a boat?
A: Yes. In North Carolina, people who are 16 years of age and under do not need a fishing license if they are with an adult who does have one.
Do you have a gas pump available?
A: Yes, gas pumps are available at the water.

Do you have a public boat ramp?
A: Eaton Ferry Marina has a private boat ramp on Lake Gaston that is available for use.
Do you have a boat ramp fee?
A: We have a $5 boat ramp fee and a $25 fee to park your automobile and trailer for the day.
Can we store our boat trailer at the marina?
A: Boat storage customers only may store their trailers at our off-site lot for an additional fee of $40 per month.
